For New and Not So New League of Women Voters Members and Prospective Members
Join regional League members for a fun and informative day and become a more informed League member
Do you feel that League members sometimes seem to be talking in a foreign language? Does League jargon frustrate you or make you feel you don’t know enough to be an active member? Do words like Consensus, Study, Action, Program, PMP and “three levels of League” seem confusing rather than helpful?
Know Our League: League 101 is a one-day discussion about all aspects of the League and how we can all participate most effectively. You may like to register voters, write for the newsletter, organize debates, contact candidates for the Voters Guide, study issues, attend government meetings, as well as many other opportunities available to you within your League.
The meeting will be held:
When: Sat., March 12 – 9:45 AM (Registration and Coffee) to 2 PM
Where: Cabrini College – The Iadarola Center – ground floor lecture hall
610 King of Prussia Road Radnor, PA 19087
Cost: $15
Box lunches and materials will be provided
For Reservations, contact Marita Green – maritagreen6@gmail.com or (610) 724-1376. |
