Every two years state and local Leagues participate in the LWVUS Program Planning process by making recommendations concerning program issues – this is one of the ways we remain a grassroots organization.

PA Supreme Court decision on Act 13 favors local zoning. Pennsylvania’s highest court struck a blow to part of the state’s natural gas drilling policy Dec. 19 when it ruled municipalities should have some sway over where the booming industry operates.
