Chesco Court of Common Pleas to Consider Regional School Board Election

On October 3, the Chester County Court of Common Pleas will consider proposed voting changes for West Chester Area School District (WCASD) school board seats. The plan was approved by the WCASD school board in July. The proposal would create three voter regions instead of the current “at large” system. If approved by the Court, the new plan could be in place for 2015 primary and general elections, making WCASD the tenth school district in Chester County with regional school board elections.
