The Coatesville VA Medical Center celebrated WOMEN’S EQUALITY DAY 2013 on August 23. The League continues to attend and support this event every year. We were proud to be there to pay respects to the Coatesville women veterans. The theme this year was “HONORING THE STRUGGLE OF VISIONARY WOMEN”. For her outstanding work and commitment on behalf of the women of Chester County, Commissioner Cozzone was presented with the “VISIONARY LEADERSHIP AWARD”. Congratulations Kathi. Thank you for your inspiring and thoughtful perspective….truly words of wisdom. Women and Women’s Equality have come a long, long way since 1920, but we have much more work to do. Kathi is someone that we can always count on to do the right thing for all of us, the women and men of Chester County.
